New Layouts For Secret Mission

If you click on the mafia name (for example : "Lileana" with yellow text on the screenshot above), it will take you to her Mafia Wars Profile.You have to use "Switch" bookmarklets to go to her FaceBook Profile if you want to send her a message, let's say if there is an idle person on the mission.
Below screenshot also show the same thing... You can click on the mafia name of the Host, it will take you to his Profile..

Secret Missions

When doing jobs, you will occasionally notice an opportunity to participate in Mafia Wars' newest feature: Secret Missions.

Click on "See the Rewards" and you will see a host of available items you can win for completing the Secret Mission:

You can click on each item to see its stats. Even the Common level items are as good as Vegas District 7 and 8 Loot. The top items have very impressive stats - on par with items you can buy from Mafia Wars for 35 Reward Points:



When you click "Select Your Crew", you will be given an opportunity to pick 5 Mafia members to help you. You can also post a help request on your Facebook news feed:


Once the Secret Mission has begun, you will see this screen.



You can ask for more help every two hours, and can check back on your Mission periodically. If/when you complete it, you will see:


And then you - and the Mafia members who helped you - will divide up some nice rewards:


So, with two new additions from the past few days, Mafia Wars players can rack up some nice Loot from leading and helping in the Secret Mission and the Declare War! challenges.

Secret Drops and 2x Mastery

In addition to Mystery Bags, we are starting to see Secret Drops in our gift list. These seem to contain a premium item or several new boosts (Adrenaline, Slum Lord, etc.) - you can only accept a certain number per day, and you obtain them from your Mafia (and send them to your Mafia) by doing jobs.
An icon will occasionally pop up allowing you to send a Secret Drop to three random Mafia members. Some Secret Drops contain new types of boosts, others contain Reward Points, Skill Points, and the like. Haven't seen Gold Keys in awhile... but still, Secret Drops are like enhanced Mystery Bags-Plus. Unlike Mystery Bags, however, you can only accept a certain number of Secret Drops per day - sort of like the Super Pignatas.
Also from doing jobs, you will occasionally see a 2x Mastery icon pop up, allowing you to send three random Mafia members this boost (and get it for yourself). Then, as you proceed to to jobs, you earn double mastery. These are especially helpful in Gold and Ruby levels in Vegas (or any city's top tier) when jobs are costing a lot of energy and earning 2% or 3% at a time.
